1) A great array of food, beer and people, plus a 750 swap, made our holiday party terrific.  We also donated a significant amount of beer to the Heavy Seas staff for letting us use their facilities.

 

2) CRABS won the club table competition at the Guild holiday party.  Kudos to those who contributed, particularly Jeff Adelsberger for all his great work.

 

3) Get your 2016 club dues to Don.  Due to adding club insurance a few years ago and the increase in crab prices, dues have increased to $25 for individuals and $40 for families.  Still a bargain!

 

4) We voted on ingredients for the Iron Brewer competition, which will be held at the April meeting.  Entries must be brewed with at least 2 of the following: cumin, grapefruit, tamarind.  “What the hell is tamarind?” you might be wondering.  See the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamarind

 

5) We also voted on which beer to clone for August’s clone competition.  Brewer’s Art Resurrection was overwhelmingly preferred over the other two randomly chosen beers, Loose Cannon and Fat Tire.

 

6) This year’s Homebrewer of the Year was Craig Bryant, who edged out 2^nd place winner Brian England by a single point.  3^rd place went to Don Zwach.  Congrats to all!

 

7) No one ran for office so the club officers remain:
