2. John Bugert won Black Flag’s homebrew contest with a Belgian quad. It will be on tap on Friday March 7. We’ll have a CRABS happy hour then. John has 10 tickets for free beers.

4. Maryland Homebrew will host Big Brew on Saturday May 3.

5. The Guild summer picnic will be on Saturday June 7, noon-dusk, at Patapsco Valley State Park, Hollofield area, shelter #300. There will be a hedonistic homebrew contest.

7. There is still one keg of barrel stout that no one has claimed. If you brewed stout and have not claimed a keg, speak up.

8. MASHOUT will be August 14-17 at the same Cumberland location.

9. The Katie’s Bridge to Independence event will be on Saturday 9/13.

10. The CRABS food-beer pairing will be on either Saturday 5/17 or Sunday 5/18. We will vote on it.

11. BaltiBrew’s ChiliBrew will be on Saturday 4/26. A formal announcement is expected soon.

12. This month’s competition was UK beers. There were 7 entries. Winners were:

13. Next meeting: Wednesday March 19. Competition will be Belgian and Trappist.

14. April competition will be any IPA made exclusively with hops released in 2020 or later, New Zealand hops, or a combination.

15. June competition will be a Sapwood Cellars clone, and we will have our meeting there. More details to come.
