2. HomebrewCon will be held June 19-20 in Asheville NC, with National Homebrew Competition awards being given out on June 18. See https://homebrewersassociation.org/aha-events/homebrewcon/
3. MASHOUT will be held August 13-16 at the same Cumberland location. This year’s CRABS food competition will be meatloaf.
4. The Guild summer picnic will be on Saturday June 6, noon-dusk, at Patapsco Valley State Park, Hollofield area, shelter #300. Pot luck food. There will be a hedonistic homebrew contest.
5. Speaking of the Guild, our own John Jester was unanimously elected president, replacing Ben Schwalb. All Guild officers are still CRABS members.
6. The CRABS quad barrel should be emptied sometime this spring. Let’s coordinate a date or two.
7. 2026 dues are $25 for single and $40 for family membership. You can pay Rob in person or Venmo him at @Rob-Kiernan-CRABS
8. Big Brew will be on Saturday May 2. Maryland Homebrew will host as usual. You can brew there, or just hang out and drink.

10. Our June competition will be Sapwood Cellars Hedge Trimmer clone. Entries should be dropped off a week before the meeting so the Sapwood folks can judge them ahead of time. The meeting date is not set in stone yet. It will be either the 10th or the 24th (some folks will be traveling to HomebrewCon on the 17th).
11. The 10th annual Pints4Paws will be held on Saturday May 30, 2-6 PM (VIP @ 1:00 PM) at the Naval Academy stadium in Annapolis, Taylor Ave, Gate 5.
