1) Dan no longer works at Heavy Seas.  Although rumors are flying, we have no confirmed details.

2) This Sunday 8/24 will be Beer & Biking 3.  It will begin at the Severna Park Taphouse, then proceed on the B&A Trail to Bill Bateman’s, then to nearby Adam’s Ribs.  Bikers are welcome to drink/crash at Ben’s place the night before.  E-mail Ben at benbrew@verizon.net if interested in the overnight option.

3) CRABS will make a charitable donation for NoVA due to the death of one of their members this past weekend.

4) Crabs4CRABS will be on Sunday 9/14, noon to 5 PM, at the usual place.  Directions will be sent.

8) Baltimore Beer Week will be October 10-19.  There will be many events including ChiliBrew on Friday 10/10, homebrew showcase at Little Havana on Wednesday 10/15, tap handle turning at Mark Supik’s, a gruit competition, and a “pros versus joes” beer competition at Bertha’s.  The BBW website is http://baltimorebeerweek.com.  Check in coming weeks for event details.

            Wednesday 9/17.  The competition will be American pale and amber.
