1. Robust attendance, and many beers were brought.
 
2. HomebrewCon had only a few Maryland attendees, and vendor participation was lighter than usual. Next year’s HomebrewCon is slated to be held in conjunction with the GABF in Denver in October 2024.
 
3. MASHOUT will be held August 17-20 at the same Cumberland location we've used since 2019. Registration is open at campmashout.com. The CRABS food and attendance list is at
 
4. Katie’s Bridge to Independence event
  • Saturday September 9, 3:00-9:00 in Catonsville.
  • Homebrews, wine, pit beef, live music, etc.
  • $40 admission. If you donate a beer, you get in free.
  • Katie’s Bridge to Independence helps young adults with neuromuscular disease become more independent through academic scholarships and small home adaptations.
  • There are about a dozen beers lined up so far and there’s room for 5-6 more.
5. Crabs4CRABS is scheduled for Sunday 9/17 at the same location we always use.

8. This month’s competition was IPAs. There were 9 entries. Winners were:
